Island Time Cold Brew Bar & Confectionary
From August 7 to 14, Salt Spring Coffee is teaming up with Here There to bring Vancouverites Island Time, a week-long pop-up experience with a Truly West Coast flavour. Think cold brew coffee drinks and treats, special events and plenty of diversions.
For us, the expression “island time” is an extension of our Truly West Coast spirit. It reflects our love for trees and ocean breezes, the way we slow down and savour every moment, our desire to spend time with our friends, family and community. On this coast, we drink it all in.
For this fun-loving event, we couldn’t be more pleased to be partnering with a few of our favourites from around the city, including Campagnolo Restaurant, Cartems, Earnest Ice Cream, Little Mountain Shop, Social Yoga and Sofar Sounds. Here’s what to expect:
Cold Brew Bar & Confectionary
Our Cold Brew Bar & Confectionary will be serving up Salt Spring Coffee cold brew in three flavours (classic, vanilla and citrus), plus limited-edition cold brew drinks, ice cream floats and doughnuts most days from 11:00am to 8:00pm at Little Mountain Shop (4386 Main Street). Stop by for board games, coffee-inspired crafts and coffee (of course).
Island Camp Canteen with Campagnolo Restaurant
On Sunday, August 7, we’re hosting a four-course dinner by chef Robert Belcham of Campagnolo Restaurant. Inspired by campfire cooking, this intimate dining experience will feature Salt Spring Coffee as a key ingredient in each course. (Tickets available now!)
Morning Magic Yoga with Social Yoga
From 6:30am to 8:00am on Tuesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 11, Social Yoga is bring the practice to the people with Island Time yoga designed to get you moving, connecting and digging deep after hours in our Cold Brew Bar & Confectionary. (Get tickets!)
Campfire Acoustics with Sofar Music
On Wednesday, August 10, we’re hosting a mid-week Island Time concert in collaboration with Sofar Music. Pick up a ticket and catch some of the city’s hottest up-and-coming musical acts on stage. (The show is by donation, but make sure to RSVP!)
Our sustainability commitment
Because we believe in being better, we’re striving to make our Island Time pop-up as planet-friendly as possible. Our commitment? To host a zero waste event and donate a percentage of event proceeds to 1% for the Planet projects and organizations that are working toward a truly sustainable planet.
