Blending and brewing Holiday Blend

Blending and brewing Holiday Blend

The holidays are a time for tradition—and Holiday Blend is one of our favourites. Every fall, we handpick our favourite organic and fair trade coffees from around the world and blend them to create a seasonal small-batch coffee we call Holiday Blend.

What to expect

Our 2015 Holiday Blend is a medium-dark roast featuring beans from Honduras, Sumatra and Uganda. The Honduran beans are the source of the coffee’s underlying sweetness, brightness and signature walnut flavour. The Sumatran beans add body, while the Ugandan beans round out the flavour profile with chocolate and spice. The result is a full-body coffee with a nutty start, a sweet middle and a spicy finish.

How to brew it

Holiday Blend can be brewed using any of your favourite methods, from auto drip to Aeropress. But after trying them all, our coffee team gives the Chemex top marks for highlighting the coffee’s nutty notes and creating a brew that holds up well to cream. Try it at home using our #brewitright video as your guide.

Where to find it

Our limited edition Holiday Blend is available in our cafés and online shop now until December 15 (or while supplies last). Pick up a bag to share with friends and family this holiday season!
