The rising price of wholesale coffee is raising consumers concerns about just how it will impact them at the till.

Banks Thomas, Director of Coffee for Salt Spring Coffee, points out that the rising price of coffee on the C-market is more likely a product of speculation than supply and demand.

Nevertheless, Salt Spring Coffee and other coffee roasters in BC's Lower Mainland will be facing market price increases that will likely impact consumer pricing.
