A practical example of the work we’re doing at origin
Healthy, fertile soil is the mainstay for an organic coffee farmer. Ours, on the other hand, is the relationships that we keep with our partner co-ops and farmers at origin.
In March 2011 we visited co-op Zacarias Padilla and co-op José Alfredo Zeledón in northeastern Nicaragua and made good on a project that’s been in the works for three years. We delivered chippers to help the co-ops make organic compost from readily available farming waste.
