TransFair Canada is a member of the Fairtrade Labeling Organizations International (FLO). It’s responsible for certifying that Canadian products bearing the fair trade certification mark meet international fair trade standards. TransFair is responsible for monitoring and auditing products once they enter Canada to ensure that what is sold as Fair Trade Certified actually is.

At Salt Spring Coffee we choose to go beyond fair trade, which is why we create the Fair to Farmer Direct™ program in 2010. Our intent is to use our growing purchasing power to continue advancing fair trade beyond current practice in coffee growing regions around the world.
