Favourite coffee?

Metta Espresso. I love the sound, smell and artistry that goes into delivering a well-crafted espresso. At home, I trust our Director of Coffee Banks Thomas' bi-weekly coffee subscription picks.

Brew method?

Chemex. It's easy to use and produces excellent results for my first morning cup. I’ll admit that I still have a soft spot for my Moka stove top espresso maker and I’ll revert to it occasionally for nostalgia (or if I run out of filters).

Favourite time of day and/or place to enjoy a cup of Salt Spring Coffee?

Hands down a well-crafted espresso or macchiato after a fabulous seasonal dinner with my family.

What drives you and what you are working on to help make change?

The small actions we take collectively make a big difference. I strive to be part of the change and work everyday to make my community a better place. I'm currently on the Board of LoCoBC and a member of the steering committee for Fair Trade Vancouver.
