Classic Blends

Each of our Classic Blends is made from two or more single origin coffees, which are roasted at different levels and blended together to create a consistent, well-balanced flavour profile.

In 1996 when we opened our first roasting café it was hard to find certified organic and certified fair trade coffee - the organic coffee movement was very much still in its infancy and the supply was limited.

Our only steady supply of organic, fair trade coffee came from regions in Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua and Indonesia – so we chose to blend the coffees to ensure our product was certified organic and fair trade.
