Thanks to those who came out on Saturday to taste Chantel's Barista Championship Signature Drink!

The long weekend crowd made things a bit busier than usual--a good problem to have!--but those who got to sample Chantel's spiced blackberry and espresso concoction really liked it.

Any bets on what she'll come up with for next year's competition?

Mint, something with orange, and a spice which highlights a pairing of origins within a well rounded, full-spectrum blend. Maybe nix the mint, it's overpowering. If you can highlight a few of the beans in a blend and leave the others to highlight the quality of roasting you will wow the judges (Talking in theory not from experience....yet....).
