Aqua Magazine recently conducted an interview with our fearless founders Mickey McLeod and Robbyn Scott. Mickey talks candidly about organic fair trade coffee being "ahead of the trend" in 1996 and how he had to bang on doors, trade coffee for bagels, and catch naps on the ferry during 20 hour work days. According to Mickey, "I don't necessarily want to be the biggest...it's not so much growing in size as doing good things."

During our travels to Latin America one of the biggest challenges and health hazards we have noticed is the smoky and poorly designed wood cooking stoves in most of the homes of coffee farmers. (This situation is not unique to Latin America but is prevalent in the coffee communities we’ve been working with).
