Director of Marketing New Hire
SSCC recently named Charles Tremewen their new Director of Marketing. In this newly created position he will oversee Salt Spring Coffee’s marketing activity across all the Company’s business channels.  "We sought someone who could oversee our marketing and branding efforts while fostering personal relationships with our customers," said Mickey McLeod, President of Salt Spring Coffee Company. "Charles' qualifications show proven results on these fronts and we're very pleased to have him on our team."

New Coffee Director Hire!
SSCC is very lucky to have found it's new Coffee Director, Banks Thomas! Banks, who hails from North Carolina, has been working with very progressive Counter Culture Coffee. He brings with him (in addition to his family!) an absolute passion for coffee, a strong belief in coffee education and an understanding of coffee from bean to cup. More about Banks.
 
JUSTICE ROCKS!
Salt Spring Coffee Company at Justice Rocks!

Having my fingers and toes crossed for no rain sure paid off! Not only did the rain stay away, the sun came out and shone down on us at the 1st ever Justice Rocks event put on by PIVOT Legal Society. The inaugural event took place at Strathcona Park in East Vancouver and went off without a hitch! Approximately 1000 people from all walks of life came out and took in great music by Curtis Santiago, Fur Bearing Animals, RUN GMC and DJ Ziff (just to name a few). There were also informative booths, Mexican wrestling, a Kidz Zone, ice cream, delicious waffles hand made by Dr. Waffle (and RN Whip!). Attendees drank delicious free trade and organic coffee served by yours truly and her trusty side kick Alex P.
